Our clients trust us with their work. Protecting the information they place in our care is part of the service, not an addition to it.
Oxvel Systems Limited is committed to handling personal data lawfully, fairly and securely. We follow the principles of the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, and we are guided by the comparable laws of the countries in which our clients work, including the Protection of Personal Information Act of South Africa, the Nigeria Data Protection Act, the data protection laws of Uganda and Tanzania, and the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union.
When you request a demonstration or a quotation, or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, organisation, country, email address, telephone number and message. We use them only to respond to your request and to continue the conversation you have started with us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to others for their marketing.
Information that clients enter into Oxvel Audit and ACCMIS Accounting is processed only to provide the service, and on the instructions of the client concerned.
Our software runs on the infrastructure of established, reputable hosting providers. Information is encrypted in transit between your browser and the service, access is protected by individual user accounts, and client data is backed up as part of the service.
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as the law requires.
You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how it is used. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with the applicable law.
